Red Volcano is a supporting antagonist the animated series Young Justice. It was the latest android created by T.O. Morrow and the "younger brother" of Red Tornado, Red Inferno, and Red Torpedo. It is also known that he is in league with The Light.

He was voice Jeff Bennett, who also voiced T.O. Morrow in the same show, Ragdoll, D.A.V.E. and Killer Moth The Batman, H.A.R.D.A.C. in Batman: The Animated Series, Boog Shlizetti and Global Warmer from Fanboy & Chum Chum, the Joker in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Bradley Uppercrust III in An Extremely Goofy Movie, Ozzy in The Land Before Time: The Great Valley Adventure, Ichy in The Land Before Time: Journey Through the Mists, Dr. Hamsterviel in Lilo and Stitch Series, Tong Fo in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Major Man, Mike Brikowski, and Dick Hardly in The Powerpuff Girls, Darth Revan in Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Father in Codename: Kids Next Door.

History

"Humanity"

Initially created to eliminate the Justice League, Red Volcano promptly destroyed his creator—an android duplicate of the original Morrow, shortly after its activation. The rogue android then set out to finish Morrow's plans by detonating the supervolcano underneath Yellowstone, causing an extinction-level event designed to wipe out humanity and replace it with an army of robots. Red Volcano encountered some resistance from the Young Justice Team, but managed to take them out single handedly. As he enacted the final stage of his plan, Red Volcano was betrayed by his siblings and dragged into the very volcano he created by Red Torpedo and Red Inferno, while Red Tornado diverts the ash of the supervolcano into space, saving the planet from extinction.

"Runaways"

A rebuilt Red Volcano infiltrated S.T.A.R. Labs to obtain the body parts of the android known as Amazo. Blue Beetle, Virgil Hawkins, Asami Koizumi, and Ed Dorado end up fighting Red Volcano while Tye Longshadow rescues Blue Beetle. After Blue Beetle recovered, he continued to fight Red Volcano while the other kids rescued the bystanders. Blue Beetle seemingly destroys Red Volcano by drilling a hole into him and unleashing a sonic blast into his body. It's revealed that Red Volcano was secretly sent by Lex Luthor as a diversion to retrieve the enhanced meta kids.
